AI Guest Lecture @University of California, Irvine

Am 01. Dezember 2020 wurde ich von der Universität von Kalifornien, Irvine, eingeladen, eine virtuelle KI Vorlesung zur Verarbeitung natürlicher Sprache zu halten. Sofern möglich werde ich die Aufnahme im Nachgang veröffentlichen.

Abstract:

In this AI guest lecture at the University of California, Irvine, Alexander Wachtel talks about the challenges, and basic concepts in Natural Language Processing, and Natural Language Understanding. Furthermore, this talk discusses design of dialogs, and response or answer generation based on context or knowledge.

Alexander Wachtel is working as a Managing Director & Solution Architect for the ESC Germany.  After graduating in computer science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2012, he worked on his Ph.D. thesis in the field of programming in natural language at the chair of Prof. Dr. Walter F. Tichy. During this time, he has published several technical research articles in the area of Natural Language Processing, Natural Language Programming, AI & Cognitive Services. Due to his many years of experience and certifications on Microsoft technology, he has been honored as a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) since 2013 till today.
